Community Gardens
Each garden project undertaken by The Garden Club of Montclair tells a story of dedication, community spirit, and a deep-rooted passion for nature. The collaborative nature of the Garden Club's projects have fostered a strong sense of community among residents and Club members alike. Working together on these initiatives has built strong relationships and instilled a sense of pride in the community’s shared achievements. The collective impact of the Garden Club's work has made Montclair not only a more beautiful place to live but also a more connected, informed, and environmentally conscious community.

The Secret Garden
The creation of the Garden Therapy Program in 1999 serves Prince William County’s Adult Day Care Program offered at the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building, 15941 Donald Curtis Dr, Woodbridge, Virginia. Spurred by the interest of several early club members who were also Master Gardeners, all unanimously agreed, garden therapy, also known as horticultural therapy, offers numerous benefits for individuals with disabilities or compromised health. Today our club continues to recognize the impact garden therapy offers as a holistic approach that supports physical, mental, and emotional health, making it a valuable tool for individuals with various health challenges.

The Blue Star Memorial Garden
The Blue Star Memorial Garden stands as a poignant tribute to the brave individuals who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces. The garden is part of a nationwide initiative to honor military personnel who have dedicated their lives to protecting the freedoms enjoyed by US citizens. The program began shortly after World War II and aimed to create living memorials across the country to honor service members.
